Our Way...

The way is long -- let us go together

The way is difficult -- let us help each other

The way is blissful -- let us share it

The way is ours alone -- let us go in love

The way grows before us -- let us begin

Our First MacDonald's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Abbey's 2 year old birthday
at MacDonald - Stadium Boulevard.

Its our first MacDonald's party.

I wanted one for myself when I was young
but could not afford it... envy these children!

There's an indoor playground.
Ah gong and the kiddos :)

Charlotte loves party hats.
She chose her own lunch - cheeseburger with milk.

With the birthday girl - Abbey.
The children were warming up for the party.

Happy Charlotte

Sandy with Abbey

All kids love MacDonald... do they?
All kids love mayo too right?

Abbey is so cute!
Abbey's favourite - nuggets!

Charlotte ran to me and said,
"Mummy I also want a MacDonald party!"

While waiting for Daddy...

Yesterday we were at T1 as Ben's and Alicia's
Daddy returned from his one month long work trip.

Its so heart warming to see how the kiddos miss their Daddy.
Aww...

Always with the same hand sign when posing.
Alicia is so sweet...
cried when she saw Daddy,
kept kissing Daddy and told Daddy - I miss you a lot.

Charlotte was behaving as if she is fetching her Daddy.
She joined in the excitement!

Ben looked bored but
he was really excited.
He told me its
zero days to Daddy coming home when I chatted with him.

Angel and the gers...
she took care of the kids all by herself for one whole month
and even cook for us when we went her house during the weekends.
She's amazingly strong hor?

I wouldn't survive it if I were in her shoes.

Victor's Kitchen ~ Sunshine Plaza

This morning we went to Waterloo for praying and to buy some dried foodstuffs. We decided to have our breakfast at Victor's Kitchen in Sunshine Plaza.

When we entered, we were "greeted" by a sulky faced auntie who does not know where to place us as we have 3 adults, a kid and a baby inside a stroller. She turned to another lady at the counter and spoke in Khek saying that there are 2 children. Then unhappily lead us to a seat near the counter.

After some time, the lady boss walked out. When she saw our stroller she said, "No stroller inside". Ivan and myself were shocked by what she said and we stared at each other. In our head we were thinking - are you trying to say no infants or kids are allowed inside your restaurant? There was a moment of silence and the lady boss asked us to change to the outside seat so that our stroller will not block the way.

I was SUPER DUPER PISSED not because that I need to change seats BUT with the attitude that was given by the sulky face auntie and the lady boss instead.

After the commotion we had, another table had the same issue. The lady boss insisted that the table of 4 adults and a child to be seated elsewhere when they were already seated and there was no one there initially to arrange seats for them.

The sulky face auntie told other customers that she was not the one to arrange seats and pointed to another lady at the counter when she was obviously the cashier.

I admit that the dim sum they sell is delicious hence I brought my mum for breakfast there. My previous visits there were rather pleasant, especially when they initially started out as a small dim sum shop corner. Personally I felt that their service is really lousy and I do not deserve such attitude especially when I am their customer. Their lousy attitude is a big turn off, really!

The food review of this shop can be found in many famous food blogs. I wonder if they get similar treatment ...?

Recently...

Beginning to feel that Charmaine looks more n more like me esp her eyes.

Charmaine looks like a boy esp with Lucas's romper.

Charlotte is constantly trying to get our attention
and its driving me mad!

 Charlotte's art piece from school.

Showing off new specky from her newly bought doctor set.

Charlotte's childcare photoshoot.

October. November.

October was no fun.

We were regular guests of hospital... Charmaine had jaundice, hence we visited Mt A every week until she was one month old for blood test. Charlotte went to a determologist in Pasir Ris as her palms had blisters that do not heal no matter what we do. Few days before her baby shower, Charlotte was hospitalized at KKH.

Charmaine is alright now.

Charlotte is now sick again, so November was no fun either!

Her whole body was full of rashes and she was scratching non stop. We were so afraid that she will have scars from all the scratching :(  Oh... did I mention that our family doctor is the famous blogger of http://ieatishootipost.sg/ ? He is the only doctor who manages to keep Charlotte happy during doctor visits. Yesterday, he was not on duty so Charlotte was making hell of noise at the clinic. Haiz!

Charmaine will be going to him for her jabs so I wonder if he knows how to pacify a baby :)

November passes too fast, I had only 2 buffet sessions with friends/colleagues last week, completed 1 1/2 TVBI series and now its mid of the month already.

I don't want to go back to work that fast :(

Update update!

My confinement lady left on 31 October :) and thereafter I was busy clearing up housework (those places she left out cleaning) and cleaning up after Charmaine's baby shower (discovered black ants everywhere even after cleaning up - Ivan was spraying insecticide crazily everywhere).

My kitchen was in a mess with items chucked everywhere, stains on my cupboard, sink never scrubbed... did I mention she almost caused a permanent stain on my table top? Ah... I was real mad!

I can never live with anyone else except Ivan I guess... especially with my "expectations" in cleanliness... only Ivan can tolerate me.

Charmaine's baby shower was great!

Thank you all for making the effort to attend and thank you for the presents and ang baos!

Dora made yummy cupcakes for Charmaine.
Thank you for the effort.
I had quite a few ;)
Anyone wants to order let me know cos I can get good discount from her!

Luckily we took a shot before everyone comes.
Daddy and Charlottte were not back from hospital yet so no photo of them :(

Charlotte was rather shocked to find loads of people when she was home.
She looked unwell still...

Love this shot esp with mummy's mouth wide opened

Andy's artistic impression of the red eggs.

Joel: This toy seems familiar. I think I have one at home too!

One month difference,
 makes great difference..

Nice shot though my Dad always dunno look where when he took photos.

Some thought that I am a boy
cos I was wearing blue "

... but with polka dots and cupcake,
its impossible that I am a boy right?

Charmaine: I can see por por's red top!

Need to stop blogging now! Heard LOUD pooping sound beside. Need to clean some ass now :S
