1st RCS Team Building & CIP

I had a tourist-y week (strictly speaking only 4 days) with team building on Monday at Zoo and immersion programme at Sentosa.

Team building was real fun. We had amazing race and get to do 2 team work test games - one of them was to use only 1 hand to catch the ball thrown by the person beside you and all team members have to throw at the same time, not holding the ball for more than 3 secs or drop or otherwise we had to start all over again. The other was to stack 8 feets into a tower.

We had a roller coaster challenge whereby we were given only few materials and we had to build a roller coaster and eventually combine all of them.

It was fun!

The immersion programme I had was supposed to last for 4 days but since it clashed with team building, I had to miss the 1st day. Travelling to Sentosa kills! I cannot imagine if I ever work there. We were super well fed throughout and get to know more colleagues, more about the company and the leading people in it. Many were humble despite the positions they hold.

I love the HOPE Foundation - the philanthropic arm of my company and hope that I could volunteer myself in one of their programmes.

I made the right choice for the job switch *pat despite the workload, I learnt many new things that I couldn't have learn if I continue to stay complacently in my previous job.

Kudos to - Building for people to build people, Building people to build for people...

New Member

Father-in-law picked up a red pony and gave us. Chars especially Charlotte, was overjoyed to the new member and kept sitting and hoping around on it throughout the house and poor Charmaine and Kenshin spent most of the time running after her.

She promised Hubby the skies - to share and let the younger ones play first, but she totally forgotten about it when once she reached home.

Sigh... children!

Happy Mother's Day

Mothers should not only be appreciated during Mother's Day but every single day!

We brought mum out for dinner just like any other usual day. Just a simple meal (okay not quite simple though cos it's at a restaurant) and desserts thereafter made her real happy esp with the company of noisy and children (mum finds us noisy last time when we were kids but not this bunch of noisy and mischievous little ones... so unfair).

We brought mil out for dinner too but ended up only fil was available cos mil went for one day Malaysia tour with her Dad. Father's Day celebration came early yah. Talking about the in-laws... I am a little guilty here cos most of the Saturdays we meet my family side more than my hubby's. That's why people always say daughters are closer to heart.

Bestie is back!

Bestie is back and staying with us.

Not too bad eh.

Someone to oversee maid, free cooking lessons for maid, loads free food, loads free treat from Jasan, friends who are so busy to meet up visited, additional playmate for Chars etc...

Most importantly I was overjoyed to see little anpan jumping! Something that he didn't know until he learnt from Chars. So glad that my girls are cooperative and enjoying little anpan's company.

To think... I still spent hours to explain to Charlotte on the new addition to family. Children really adapts easily.

Fun @ Genting

We bought groupon at only $95 each we get to stay at First World 3D 2N including coach. Finally a short getaway from the weather and endless work.

Snow World is so so fun. For a reasonable price of RM27 an adult you get 40 minutes play, that is if you have World Card Member. Normal price RM30. The previous time we were around it was under repairs. Now that it is opened, we brought the kids there as promised - Charlotte has been asking to go Snow City in Sg but it is way out at the west for us. The -5 degC is definitely worth it! The price comes with rental of jacket, gloves, shoes. The only down is that we are not allowed to bring cameras or camera phone in and there are loads of photographers to take photo for you and quote you a "special" price for it.

We spent a whole 8 hours in both parks almost conquering all rides the kids could take and repeating favorite rides like 10x per ride. Imagine turning round and round inside teacup...
