Pulau Ubin yet again

I did not know that going Pulau Ubin is so easy on normal weekends
Last trip there during Vesak Day long weekends was so packed

Always love the bum boat ride

Mum's always busy distributing fruits

Cherries for the little ones

Andy, I was afraid of dropping my hp into the sea

so that explains the right top corner 'marks'

We went to Pulau Ubin for flower crabs

Yah... Flower crabs for lunch

cos the last boat leaves at 8pm

we do not want to be trapped there :)

After a nap, we got pestered to visit T3 yet again...

My Busy Weekend :D

Had a busy weekend.
Rushed to Stemcord seminar at Orchard Parade Hotel after work on Saturday and signed up at a very good deal, I supposed (one time enrolment fee $980, free $250 first year free storage & free $70 insurance and subsequently gotta pay $250 every year for storage - got a $50 each one-time discount for my sister and myself as referral discount).
Took bus-mrt and fetch Charlotte, had lunch, take bus-mrt to Orchard Parade Hotel.

It was my first time during this pregnancy to bring Charlotte out so far away by myself. I usually just fetch her from in-laws place to home by bus. By the time we reached destination, I was half dead!

Sunday was Father's Day!

Finally gotten the chance to let Charlotte scribbled onto the Father's Day card I had diy and gave it to Ivan. Made him some not-so-good-looking cupcakes after going to the library...

Yah... the library at Tampines! Charlotte was so noisy and was not behaving herself even though she was the one pestering us to bring her there... Nanny's daughter brought her to Bedok library before so she remembers... grabbed 7 books then hurried off home before anyone chases us out!

We head to T3 after an afternoon nap.

The sorta fun fair was still on and it is permanent. We were also lucky to chanced upon the flea which only happens on 3rd week of every month.

After dinner and loads of crying for helium balloons

cos the jiejie at the other table had it,

we finally convinced her that another ride is better

My Little Monster

Teacher feedback to Ivan about the 'progress' of our daughter, apart from the remarks we got from her report book...

1)

She loves to jump all the time and her whole class follows after her.

Recently, she stopped jumping as Teacher tells her to stop and she learnt a new trick,

she crawls!

2)

She strangled her classmate because her classmate, Angeline, was meddling with Teacher's things. She told us she had apologize to Angeline the next day... but we doubt so.

3)

She and another boy in class, Gabriel, are a perfect match!

They are always asked to sit at a corner for being unattentive in class. When Teacher teaches, they are occupied with other things or disturbing other classmates.

Didn't know that they had a proper jetty now

Seafood dinner at Ubin was rather cheap

This plate of yummy flower crabs costs only $55

Its really sweet and juicy!

Everyone especially the kids love it

My mum actually brought a knife and some fruits to Ubin

Lucky pass through the scan at the jetty without being questioned

With the knife, the kids can have fruits!

3 kids are really N.O.I.S.Y!!!

Its really hot that day at Ubin.

The little girls had rashes.

But at night it was raining heavily

while we were watching opera after dinner.

The rain made the whole trip exciting.

There were no lampost and everywhere was pitch dark.

The kids had fun and Ben wanted to stay longer.

Its a great place to get away from the busy city life.

We did not manage to go Chek Jawa

cos the driver wanted to charge us $40 for to and fro transportation

and anyway, part of Chek Jawa was affected by the oil spill.
